Come see how this college senior in-studio session quickly turned into a family session for this wonderful family.

Hi, I’m Sean Thurston with Sean Thurston Photography here in Waynesboro, Virginia, where I am a wedding and portrait photographer. And I love what I do. So I had to senior in here, and this is a college senior, not a high school senior. So a few years older, but Dipo was graduating from college and his mom, Abim, wanted to celebrate this milestone in his life.

So we set up for an in studio session. We had time to capture great images of him. And then a little while later, we had the rest of the family join in and make this into a family session. So I enjoyed the time that I had with Dipo, Dabira and Abim. This family is originally from Nigeria and when they dress up, they really dress up to the nines and they looked amazing! I absolutely adored spending time with this family, how they looked, their attitude towards everything.

It’s just a great celebration of life, a great celebration of family. It was wonderful to spend time with them all. And here are some of the portraits from that session. I hope you enjoy.
